2024 Usonia 'Pompliano Purple', 750ml

The 2024 Pompliano Purple is made from Sabrevois, a cold-hardy hybrid developed by grape breeder Elmer Swenson and grown biodynamically in Naples, New York. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented with 100 percent whole clusters in a short semi-carbonic maceration before aging for a year in neutral barrel. Only about 50 cases were made. It’s plummy, floral, herbaceous and slightly savory with the kind of juicy lift that makes it great with a light chill.
