Lomas de Llahuén is the deeply personal project of Gustavo Riffo, a third-generation winemaker helping keep the spirit of Chile’s Itata Valley alive. After time at larger estates, he returned home to Portezuelo with a focus on old-school Pipeño traditions, native yeast fermentations, and low-intervention winemaking that lets the land speak clearly.

This bottling comes from 70-year-old dry-farmed Moscatel de Alejandría vines planted high in ancient granitic clay loam soils, and that old-vine energy really shines through. There’s a beautiful honesty here, with bright aromatics, lifted fruit, and a stony mineral clarity that feels completely tied to the rugged countryside it comes from. A soulful, vibrant white that feels both rooted in tradition and totally alive in the glass.
