2022 Les Deplaudes de Tartaras 'Au Fil du Temps', 750ml

Located in the farthest southeastern part in a little know area where the Loire and the Rhone meet named Tartaras. The family believes in the importance of being both a farmers and wine growers. Working in this underrated terroir in France they spend time reviving almost forgotten grape varieties - Chouchillon (very old grape variety from the Gier Valley related to viognier) being one of them. The farm had always produced dairy and a bit of wine but in 2003 when the price of dairy dropped they set their sites on revitalizing their vineyards and steer the focus of the farm to wine making. By 2009 they were working farming Organically and Biodynamically.
