It’s the ​​teinturier grape’s red skin and red flesh that give this whole cluster Saperavi its inky cranberry color. A juicy full-bodied yet tannic wine. Loads of black fruit and leather aromas lend a spiced dynamism to the expressive Le Rouge.

vinification & élevage

Grapes are picked and transferred into an open fermenter, gently foot-stomped and macerated for seven days.

The small free-run volume is blended with the pressed must, and allowed to finish fermentating and aged in older barrels.
