2021 Les a Les "Pedra e Cal" Arinto, 750ml
All at once there is something exceedingly classic and exceedingly fresh about this Arinto. Arinto from Bucelas has often been likened to fine German Riesling and has historically experienced great renown in Europe. Not only wonderfully aromatic and fresh this wine has a breadth and dimension normally found in wines double in price. One sip is fresh acidity, stonefruits, and zest. The next is all beeswax, honeysuckle and textural elasticity. It's a wine that deserves to stand side by side with any white Burgundy, German Riesling, or Piedmont white out there.
