2021 Dostert Crémant 'Rochus' Brut Nature #21/2, 750ml

This is a blend of Chardonnay and Elbling, mostly from the 2021 vintage. The coding after the "Rochus" tells you the vintage (21) and the disgorgement number (2). This is the second and final disgorgement of the Rochus #21. We sold the wine last year; the only difference here is the second disgorgement comes to us with an additional year on the lees. It's impossible, really, to emphasize the importance and meaning of Dostert's sparkling wines. The region has a deep history with sparkling wines and the soil and terroir here seem to me to scream for someone to make a break-through sparkling wine. I believe this person will be Jonas.
