2019 Tsikhelishvili Wines Rkatsiteli, 750ml

Aleqsi Tsikhelishvili is the winemaker at Tsikhelishvili cellar. Aleqsi inherited the knowledge of winemaking at a young age through time spent with his mother. The cellar entered the market in 2010, producing a limited few thousand bottles annually. Tsikhelishvili is located in the Kakheti wine region of eastern Georgia, nestled along the Alanzai River.

This special bottling of one of Georgia's leading white grapes Rkatsiteli has been a shop favorite for years. The wine fermented on the grape skins for more than 90 days and was laid to rest for 2 years once fermentation was complete. A classy Georgian amber that's spicy, autumnal, rich in warming fruits like dried apricot, peach, and nectarine with notes of smoked black tea.
