2023 Envinate Palo Blanco, 750ml

The 2023 Palo Blanco is a striking expression of 100% Listán Blanco from over 100-year-old vines grown on deep, sandy black basalt soils in four towns across Valle de La Orotava, at elevations between 400–850 meters. Despite a warm year, this vintage feels refreshingly cool-climate, with just 11.5% alcohol and a fine-boned, vibrant profile. Fermented in concrete and aged in foudre and used barrels for 10 months, it shows subtle reduction, sea spray salinity, and a hint of stony austerity. The palate is electric—sharp, chalky, and lifted by mouthwatering acidity. Clean, bright, and ethereal, this is a wine that drinks beautifully now but promises even more with time. Just 13,000 bottles were produced, bottled in July 2024.
