2022 Envinate Parcela Misturado,750ml

Misturado de Abeleda comes from a century-old vineyard in Ribeiras do Sil. This rare, mixed-planted parcel consists of approximately 70% red and 30% white grapes. The grapes are hand-harvested, foot-trodden, and co-fermented as 100% whole clusters with wild yeasts in open-top plastic tubs. The wine is then aged for 11 months in used 300- and 400-liter French oak barrels without racking. Bottled without fining, filtration, or added SO2, it harks back to the early days of Ribeira Sacra winemaking.
