2024 Revela (Mariana Salvador) Dao Alfrocheiro, 750ml

Made entirely from Alfrocheiro grown on decomposed granite soils, from vineyards planted in 2003 at about 360 meters above sea level in the Serra de Estrela. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with a mix of 50% whole clusters and 50% destemmed fruit, using partial carbonic maceration. Midway through fermentation, the wine is pressed and finishes aging for six months in a combination of stainless steel, glass demijohns, and neutral 225L barrels. An electric, juicy, herbaceous wine, with just 1,240 bottles made.
