2022 La Villana 'Puro' Bianco, 750ml

Joy Kull spent years hustling in New York city working in the beverage industry dreaming of a slower paced life. In 2013, at a time when very few were paying attention to the higher quality wines of Lazio, she picked up her life to work harvest as an intern at Le Coste. After a couple vintages at Le Coste, she started La Villana with her husband, a local shepherd and the few savings that she had. The name, ‘La Villana’ is the local slang word that shepherds use for farmers. Joy named her project after this word as a light hearted life joke - being that she is a farmer! This orange wine is 100% procanico with 10-days of skin contact grown on volcanic soil and aged in cement eggs.
