Greenpoint Cidery 'First Edition' NY Farmhouse Cider, 500ml

A blend of 3 New York apple varieties Northern Spy, Gold Rush, and Newton Pippin. The first 2 are always the base for this cider, while the 3rd variety is determined by what is most available that year. 2021 vintage is the first edition with all American originating varieties! The juice was fermented first in two batches, one with native yeasts and the other pitched with white wine yeasts. They were both fermented to dryness then blended and aged for 1 year, bottled with champagne yeast dosage, and finally released after at least 6 months aging in bottle. This cider is the most classic of the bunch - easy, airy, concentrated and crisp flavor. It is golden fruit forward and aromatic with tropical citrus notes that reminds me of chenin and muscat.
