2023 Muller-Ruprecht Rot, 750ml

A staple in our shop - This gem is light, bright and refreshingly crisp! With notes of wild blackberry, sour cherry with some slight herbaciousness. Put a chill on this bad boy!

Lemberger and Cabernet Sauvignon with eight days of Carbonic Maceration, aged in steel then bottled with no so2. No Filtration or fining—it is intentionally cloudy with yeast which gives a little texture to the very low alcohol wine (just 10.5%!).

All the wines are made of 100% estate fruit, harvested by hand. The estate gave up using pesticides/herbicides in 2006 and instead fights weeds mechanically. Since 2020 they are in the process of becoming certified Organic to hand over their vineyards in best conditions to their sons. -vB
