2024 Hammelmann Riesling 'H' Trocken, 750ml

“Aus den Dörfen” translates to “from the villages” – you’ll see this on all of Hammelmann’s village-level wines.

The “H” here indicates the wine is from the limestone-rich soils of Hochstadt, directly next to Hammelmann’s hometown of Zeiskam. This is just superb, with something like the lightness of a Kabinett Trocken – bouncy, cutting, dense and polished – zingy. I love this wine.
