2023 Les Bottes Rouges 'Gibus' Trousseau, 750ml

Before founder Jean-Baptiste Menigoz made the leap to turn his hobby into a career, he split his time between teaching children with special needs and tending to his small plot of vineyards. This eventually led him to school for winemaking in Beaune and an opportunity to train with the famed Stephan Tissot. 

In 2014, Menigoz joined forces with accomplished Dutch restaurateur Florien Kleine Snuverink and the two became partners in every aspect of the process.

Named after Jean-Baptiste’s favorite rock song, the Les Bottes Rouge’s wines are wild and adventurous, capturing the sunny alpine nature of the region and the calming clarity of a fresh snow-peaked mountain. 

Tasting these wines is one of the best ways to experience the complexity of the high energy, adventurous wines of the Jura from a stunning natural wine domain.
