2024 Moritz Kissinger '0 Ohm' Red, 750ml

The 2024 0 Ohm Red is 100% Pinot Noir from limestone-heavy vineyards around Uelversheim. The name comes from the electrical term for resistance, which feels pretty appropriate here because this is a seriously effortless bottle of wine. It's light on its feet but still has plenty of character, with bright cherry and red berry fruit, subtle earthy spice, and a nice savory edge. There's a little bit of grip on the finish, but the overall impression is fresh, juicy, and incredibly drinkable.
