Casal de Ventozela is a lively, family-run winery with 45 hectares of lush, sustainably farmed vineyards right in the heart of Portugal’s Vinho Verde region. The vines stretch across two beautiful valleys—Vale do Ave and Vale do Covado—where the team grows grapes with love, care, and serious respect for the environment. The estate’s story goes way back to 1874, but it got a fresh new chapter in 1974 when Jose Ferrera Cortinhas took the reins after the April 25 revolution and breathed new life into the place. For years they sold their grapes, but in 2008, they finally started bottling their own wines. This signature blend is a crisp, vibrant mix of Arinto, Loureiro, and Trajadura.
